Another side project for Production Designer Nick Murray — this time for a cooking show centred around elevating classic pub meals. The series ran for two seasons, with Season 2 filmed in a new studio and featuring a small extension to the original set.
Working on a cooking show offered a different kind of design challenge: camera sightlines, lighting grids, and practical kitchen use all had to be balanced with visual appeal and flexibility for shooting. Unlike drama sets, these needed to function as real workspaces while also reading well on screen — meaning every surface and angle had to serve both form and function.
